Conservation Strategies
The SCWCP Conservation Strategies are tools for California's rural coastal communities to use in their efforts to increase summer instream flow for improved aquatic habitat and improve water supply sustainability. Each strategy is designed for use by a water purveyor, community group, or individual to identify and implement specific measures. Eight Conservation Strategies have been developed as part of the SCWCP and target communities have been identified for strategies.
Each strategy includes a brief summary of the topic, discussion of the target community, an assessment of the effect of implementation, a section describing "how to implement," and numerous tools and resources to facilitate implementation.
